Mission Activities and Regional Impact
Mission properties worldwide continue to serve as vibrant hubs for spiritual growth, community service, and fellowship. In countries such as Mexico, Cameroon, and India, these properties hosted significant events, including national conferences and youth gatherings that attracted both local and international participants. Such gatherings fostered deeper spiritual connections and strengthened the unity of the international community. A notable event was the “Bible Kids Explorers” weekend in Argentina, which provided children with an engaging and spiritually enriching experience. In India, the annual summer conference gathered over 200 participants for a series of inspiring services and activities.
Basfour Group: Empowering Through Christian Social Entrepreneurship
In South Africa, the Basfour Group, an integral part of BMS International’s mission-focused investments, has made significant strides in enhancing operational efficiency and service quality. At Pont de Val, the introduction of a new Table d’Hôte menu and cost-effective staffing strategies have streamlined daily operations, while infrastructure upgrades have boosted the sustainability of the properties.
This quarter also marked substantial growth in the Christian Youth Development Program (CYDP), with the number of trainees doubling. Participants engaged in training in areas such as small business marketing, financial management, construction and essential soft skills, equipping young adults from various African countries with valuable tools for success and empowering them to make meaningful contributions within their communities.
Supporting Communities in Africa
As part of the ‘CPC Africa Support Program,’ members of the Basfour Group’s board and management dedicated over 260 hours this quarter to providing specialized training and support to African communities.
